 2021 Men's Member Guest
The annual Men's Member Guest is a flighted round robin match play tournament followed by a modified shootout to determine the overall champion. Teams can choose to play in the Championship flight from the Course Name tees, the Kiawah flight from the Kiawah tees or the mixed flights from any set of tee. The first six teams signed up in each flight are accepted, then each flight is filled six teams at a time until the limit is met. The competition is at both Osprey Point and Cougar Point on Friday, October 29 and at the opposite course (Osprey Point or Cougar Point) on Saturday, October 30. Optional practice rounds with a best net of two best ball competition is on Thursday, October 31 at The Ocean Course, Cougar Point or Osprey Point (tee times are first come, first served). The weekend kicks off with a reception at Mingo Point and finishes with an awards dinner in the new West Beach Conference Center Carolina Ballroom. The ladies have the option to enjoy a round of golf at Osprey Point on Thursday and a river cruise from NOW MINGO POINT on Friday afternoon. (Sign up for your time in advance). Entries will be accepted in the order they are received. Members must be Governor's Club golf members and all participants must have a valid USGA handicap. $1700 per team includes Welcome Dinner with guest/spouse, Golf Friday and Saturday, Awards dinner on Saturday, tee gift, lunches Friday and Saturday
